Dr. Steve Chan is an Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) solution architect and numerical algorithms software engineer focused on the nexus of information science, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and decision science. He has served as a reviewer for 44 peer-reviewed publications, which include 10 IEEE/IET journals and 7 IEEE conference proceedings. He is the author of 92 peer-reviewed book chapters, journal articles, and conference papers, which include 38 IEEE papers. For 65 of the refereed publications, he was first author, and 21 of these received Best Paper/Best Presenter. He is an inventor with 14 granted patents, and he is an alumnus of MIT and Harvard.
